Seudati Dance is a dance that originated from the province of Aceh. Seudati derived from the word 'Creed, which means witness / testify / recognition of no god but Allah, and Prophet Muhammad the messenger of God.
This dance also includes categories of Tribal War Dance or War Dance, which evoke the spirit of his verse always Acehnese youth to rise up and fight against colonialism. Therefore, this dance had banned the Dutch colonial era, but now this dance is allowed to return and become Indonesia's National Arts.
